Technocraft designed and fabricated the Longline Precast Moulds for this prestigious project for double cell precast segments. The project demanded a system with fast cycle time and matching to the international standards in terms of finish and accuracy. Technocraft designed the moulds to be operated with Hydraulic jacks which ensured not only a faster cycle time but also with lesser manpower. The mould required very high degree of tolerance to be achieved with unmatched finish. The peculiarity of the project which Technocraft had to deftly deal with was the variation in the inner mould blister and deviator positions. Not only each segment of a span was different, the variations continued from span to span.
At Technocraft, design is the way of life, be it for a High rise building or an Infrastructure project. And designing formwork systems which gives an extra value addition to our client is something we are adept in. This project is one such job which was executed by Technocraft understanding fully the site conditions, cycle time and quality requirement. Technocraft worked closely with the client understanding the finer details required by their engineers and designed a Mould which was very easy to assemble and equally easy to dismantle. The Technocraft qulity team ensured a high class quality deliverance and the same can be witnessed when the innerforms were removed and taken to the next bay for casting.
This was first of its kind of a project. Though it was a Balance Cantliliver, it was to be done by precast segment moulds. Also another challenge was to do it in Longline as per the requirement of customer engineers. Technocraft designed a robust and yet user friendly Longline precast mould with adjustable innerforms for the various segments of the Cantiliver Bridge. The slopping soffits and the adjustments of the outerforms and yet maintaining the required curve with high degree of precision was the highlight of Technocraft’s design and craftsmanship.

Generally used where down support is not possible, at present it is being used in the DMRC project, the Yamuna river crossing.
